There is now what is called Strava art whereby cyclist and runners plan their route very specifically in order to create the shape of a recognisable object or a face using their GPS. It stands for global positioning system, a satellite network used to locate vehicles and people. I didn’t want to be in control of the ‘drawing’ I made, I wanted to literally run around a city I didn’t know and see what happened. So the rule was just run and let the GPS on my watch record it.
Method – (starting point) literally put on my running trainers, attached my running watch and pressed go. Anytime I wanted to take a picture, I simply pressed pause.
